Many people worry about the weight gain once they quit smoking. When you quit there's still the habit of bringing something to your mouth a lot of people don't factor in. This is also part of the smoking habit. To fill this try snacking on things like carrots and popcorn, or chew sugar free gum. Things that are healthier for you and fill that need of hand to mouth.
Don't forget not to skip any meals, a person should have 3-5 small meals a day depending on how you snack in between. Eating the right things will give you that energy and keep the urge to smoke at bay.
